I chose to make an infographic on how to make guacamole. I decided to use five steps, the first step was to cut up the avocado, followed by adding onions, tomatoes, and cilantro. The third step was to add lime juice, the fourth step was to add salt and pepper, and the fifth step was to mix it all together and enjoy with chips. I started out by sketching different ideas on my iPad before transferring to Illustrator. To make my infographic visually appealing, I decided to use a neutral color palette consisting of greens, oranges, and reds. I felt that these colors complemented each other well and were appropriate for the ingredients used in making guacamole. I also considered incorporating some darker shades of green and brown to represent the avocado and add contrast to the design.
